The site’s grass pitches can accommodate tents, caravans, campervans, motorhomes, and RVs, with a maximum of six guests per pitch. There are 43 non-electric pitches on one side of the island and two standalone private electric pitches at the mill’s front. Facing the watermill, 45 grass pitches with electric hook-ups are spread across various areas. Electric hardstanding pitches are available for trailer tents, caravans, campervans, motorhomes, and RVs, including a secluded pitch within the courtyard and seven riverside pitches with scenic river views.
The site allows a maximum of three dogs per pitch, subject to an additional fee, with the requirement that they remain on a lead at all times.
Flaxton Meadows
Flaxton Meadows, an adult-only, eco-friendly touring park, is conveniently located just a ten-minute drive from the Howardian Hills and the North York Moors. Nestled in charming countryside, this tranquil site offers excellent facilities, a dog-friendly nature trail, and quick access to York’s historic centre, reachable in about 15 minutes. The park provides a range of pitches, including secluded hardstanding touring pitches with 32-amp electric surrounded by evergreen trees. Additionally, fully serviced pitches with 32-amp electric, water, and waste connections are available. All pitches offer generous sizing, providing ample space for outdoor dining and relaxation. Well-behaved dogs on leads are warmly welcomed.

The site offers eight grass pitches, each equipped with a 10-amp electric hook-up suitable for tourers. Additionally, there are fully serviced hardstanding super pitches providing electric and water hook-ups, TV aerial connections, low-level lit bollards, and grey water drainage. These include 35 pitches with a 10-amp electric hook-up conveniently situated near amenities and a play area, ideal for families. There are also 15 extra spacious pitches with a 16-amp hook-up, offering views of the Hambleton Hills by the lake, though slightly farther from the amenities.
Dogs are welcome on all pitches, with a maximum of two dogs per pitch, and plenty of nearby walks are available for their enjoyment.
